Found next to Johnson Space Center, the city of Clear Lake is a well-planned neighborhood that is situated at the southeastern portion of Harris County, Texas. The city got its name after a lake that is south of Johnson Space Center which divides the counties of Galveston and Harris and joins the Clear Creek and Galveston Bay. Almost all of the neighborhood’s area are located in the combined border of Houston, although a little portion of the eastern part is within the city border of Pasadena. The neighborhood of this city is mixed with a number of races but the biggest number of concentration are the Asian American. Clear Lake and its nearby areas also has a large number of engineers because of both NASA and their district’s petrochemical industry. The community also has several schools from elementary to college. The University of Houston-Clear Lake which is near to the neighborhood of this city caters the people within and near the area. It also has a public libraries and recreational parks to serve the neighborhood.
