Sugar Land is the third biggest city in terms of population and being the second biggest in economic activities in the Houston area. Imperial Sugar is located in the city of Sugar Land and the company’s major refinery and segregation center was once found in the city. As a salute to this tradition, the Imperial Sugar crown logo can be located in the city seal and logo. Sugar Land are also the place of Western Airways and the main production facility for Nalco Chemical Company. Moreover, Sugar Land had the, biggest number of international energy, software, engineering, and product firms. The city had almost the master-planned society located in Fort Bend County, which is the place of the biggest number of master-planned communities in the nation, containing the First Colony, New Territory, Telfair, Greatwood, Chelsea Harbour and many more areas.
